The Crusades have built an economy between Europe and North Africa by taking over parts of Europe and North Africa and helped the expansion of both Denmark and Sweden. This also helped the economy regliously by crusading in the Mediterranean Sea and it led to conquest and colonization of many islands, which arguably helped ensure Christian control of the Mediterranean Sea trade routes.
