Camels are important to the Middle East and India because camels are adapted to the life in deserts and very useful for people living in the deserts. They are used as pack animals for transporting goods, they have legs that are designed to walk on a sandy hot surface and can withstand the extreme temperatures. Camels are useful by providing meat, milk, skin, and wool to the people living in the deserts.
