As the point (-3,-4) has an open circle on it , So we do not include this point in our answers .

while the other point (1,2) has a closed circle on it , so we include it in our answer .

So the two answers should be

[tex] -3<x\leq 1 [/tex] and [tex] -4<y\leq 2 [/tex]

i.e. 2) and 3) are the correct answers
