William "Smokey" Robinson Jr. is an American singer who was one of the founders of Motown. He was also the lead singer, chief songwriter, and producer of Motown vocal group The Miracles.
The Miracles was one of the most influential vocal group in pop, rock, and roll in 1965. Its first successful recording was done for Berry Gordy.
