The value of X is 6

reduce the numbers 6x2/3x=24

calculate the product 2x2x=24

divide both sides by 4   4x=24

x=6

The answer is 6. You divide the 6 on both sides. Then you multiply by the reciprocal of 2/3 on both sides to get x alone.
