First, distribute the 3 to 4x and 1. So it will be 12x + 3. Then put together like terms on the left side. 3x+3 =12-6x. Next, subtract 3 from each side. 3x=9-6x. Then, add 6x. 9x=9. Divide by 9 and your answer is X=1

THE ANSWER IS 4 because you take 3x4x which equals 12x minus 9x equals 3.so 3x plus one euqls 12-6x 9 minus six is 3 equals 12.12 divided by 3 is 4
