Solve for each function first.

g(-5) = 3(-5) - 1

g(-5) = -16

f(-5) = -5^2 + 1

f(-5) = -24

Multiply.

(fg)(-5) = (-16 x -24)

(fg)(-5) = -384

Not entirely sure if this is correct but this seemed the most obvious way to do it so I did it. Let me know if I'm wrong.
