I roll my dice and work out my total.
Which of the following totals cannot be achieved?
a) 3
b) 7
c) 8

Answer:

7 cannot be achieved

-1 + 6 = 5

-3 + 4 = 1

-5 + 2 = -3

as you can see, no combinations can form seven
