Answer:

A blueprint is essentially an outline or base for what you are writing about. If you were to think about an actual builidng, the blueprints would show where the support beams go, that are essential to support the builiding. After you get the base, you add on all of the other layeres until the builiding is all complete, and in this case, that would be your piece of writing.
