To get the answer, you should first find the slope; its equation is 1--1/1--1 (Second y-value minus first y-value divided by second x-value minus first x-value). the slope would be 2. Now slope-intercept form is y=mx+b. We found slope which is two and for the x and y plug one of the y-value into y and one of the x-value into x. It would then be 1=2(1)+b. Solve the equation by multiplying 2 by 1 ti get 2 and divide 2 from each side. b= 1/2. b means the y-intercept.
