To subtract fractions you have to have a common denominator. (6!)
To get the common denominator of 6, multiply 1/3 by 2
So then you have 5/6-2/6
After that you subtract the nominators (5 and 2)
5-2= 3
There fore, the answer is 3/6.
Reduce the fraction to 1/2 ( 3/3= 1, 6/3=2)
