The measure of an angle is seventeen times the measure of a supplementary angle. What is the measure of each angle?

The term "supplementary" means that the two angles add up to 180°, which means we can write an equation:
17x + x = 180
18x = 180
÷ 18
x = 10
And now you can multiply 10 by 17, because it is 17 times the angle, to get 170° and 10° as your answer.
