[tex](pq)(x) = 2x^3-10x^2+12x[/tex]

The given functions are:

[tex]p(x) = 2x^2-4x\\\\q(x) = x - 3[/tex]

(pq)(x) = p(x) * q(x)

Please take note that this is not the same as (p 0 q)(x)

[tex](pq)(x) = (2x^2-4x)(x-3)[/tex]

Expand the expression using distribution property

[tex](pq)(x) = 2x^3-6x^2-4x^2+12x\\\\(pq)(x) = 2x^3-10x^2+12x[/tex]
