Karl Marx believed that the Capitalist system would eventually destroy itself by means of a Proletariat Revolution. Marx theorized that the proletariat working class would eventually rise up against the bourgeoisie as they were fed up with being oppressed. The working class would over take industry and rule under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat, thus putting and end to capitalism.
