The speed and rate of acceleration have no connection. Neither of them tells you anything about the other one. If any connection shows up, then it's got to be a car thing, like something about the engine or the tires.
Acceleration can be anything. it can be positive, negative or zero. There is no dependence between speed and acceleration no matter how greater the speed becomes.
