(?) You did not provide an image of this so I'm assuming you mean overall.
glaciers are made of ice meaning when they do break the ice slides down the side picking up rocks durt and etc. other times they may melt causing water to run off of them. if they have snow on them the snow may fall down the side of it causing an avalanche.
